Wilna Havenga’s roots in the beauty and wellness industries continue to shape the way she approaches development. These sectors are deeply human: they influence confidence, identity, wellbeing, livelihoods and the way people experience themselves.
Her current counselling studies and developing coaching practice bring an additional dimension to this work—connecting personal growth with leadership, entrepreneurship, professional capability and sustainable business development.
Qualifications & award-winning experience
Wilna’s beauty and wellness background is both formally qualified and deeply practical. She holds a National Diploma in Aesthetics and international ITEC qualifications in physiatrics, anatomy and physiology, aromatherapy, reflexology and body massage—completed with magna cum laude recognition.
Her advanced training spans skin rejuvenation, chemical peels, IPL, micro-current and laser therapies, spa and hydrotherapy, permanent make-up, nutrition, salon management, retail development and client care.
Founder and owner of Exclusive Connection Salon & Day Spa, recognised by Rooi Rose as one of South Africa’s top seven day spas and placed second nationally as Nimue Retailer of the Year.
Owner and manager of the four-star Guest Connection Guest House and Medi Connection Medi Spa, combining hospitality, medical wellness, holistic therapies and corporate wellness experiences.
Former National Operations and Business Development Manager for Virgin Cosmetics, helping establish 12 franchised sites in under a year, train therapists nationally and develop signature treatments and operating systems.
Featured by SABC 2’s Pasella for innovative therapies, served as a cosmetic adviser to SARIE magazine’s beauty editor, and worked professionally across television, film, fashion and photographic make-up.

Professional development in progress
Wilna is finalising her Master Coach designation in business, beauty and wellness coaching through IMCSA this year, alongside her counselling degree—while also contributing to business development. This emerging specialisation complements her experience in skills development, consulting, entrepreneurship and sector partnerships.
The coaching offering will be expanded as the certification journey progresses.
