Wilna’s career has been shaped by one central belief: people grow when they can see how today’s learning connects to tomorrow’s opportunity. Through MPD, she works across business, education, government and professional structures to build those connections.
As an accredited SDF, she connects workplace skills planning and organisational priorities to practical development pathways. Her broader experience includes business and product development, professional-body development, CPD systems, Recognition of Prior Learning, QCTO-aligned development, sector partnerships and internationally portable career pathways.

The person behind the strategy
Wilna is completing her degree in counselling and finalising her Master Coach designation through IMCSA this year—two credentials converging at the same time, each deepening her focus on coaching, wellness and the relationship between personal confidence and sustainable growth.
Her professional roots lie in the beauty and wellness industries—sectors that first taught her that development is not only about qualifications or job titles. It is also about identity, self-belief, wellbeing and helping people recognise what is possible within themselves. Over 30 years, that has grown from hands-on salon and spa leadership into corporate wellness programmes, stress-management workshops and workplace wellbeing days delivered to corporate clients—the same people-centred thinking that now shapes MPD's broader value proposition.
She serves as a board member of the South African Essential Oil Producers’ Association (SAEOPA) ↗, contributing to sector promotion, training, learnerships, professional matters and the development of opportunities within the natural-ingredients value chain.
Alongside her Master Coach studies, Wilna contributes to business development at the Institute of Management Consultants and Master Coaches of South Africa (IMCSA) ↗.
These passions will, in time, find further expression through Secret Revealed and Au’Vive—future ventures connecting beauty, wellness, transformation and opportunity. More will be revealed when the time is right.
